WWVCC: REBRANDING GROUP PROJECT
A FULLY REALIZED REBRANDING SOLUTION
Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce (known as The Chamber)
A local entrepreneur who feels nervous about starting up his small business needs to partner with The Chamber for consultation, advocacy, and networking opportunities but does not fully understand how necessary the Chamber is in his success with his business.
We gave The Chamber a more professional feel and voice that successfully reflects their vision and mission to their target audience by creating an easily understood and cohesive brand identity. This new brand identity was accompanied by 28 deliverables which included a wide variety of print collateral and a website template.
Our Graphic Services class of eight students formed into a design firm, each responsible for fulfilling their specified position. I was voted to be the Creative Director, which meant that my main task was to organize and facilitate the team as they moved through the completion of the rebranding. The most exciting aspect of working on this team was the ability to complement each others’ strengths and weaknesses. As a team, we were able to create a better, more complete solution for our client than any one of us could have accomplished on our own.
